I have had so much fun working with this new-to-me crafting medium...it's really amazing. Essentially, they are fibers that bond to each other with heat and pressure. And they are so sparkly you can hardly believe your eyes.

So what you do is put a bit on a piece of parchment paper, cover it with another piece of parchment paper and pass your iron (on silk setting) over it once or twice rather quickly. What once was a wad of shiny fibers is now a sheet of gossamer-like fabric...fabric that you made!

The sky's the limit with all the fun things you can do with it...add it to your paper projects, embroidery sampler, clothing! (it's machine washable and dryable!)

The crimped cut fibers are shinier and a bit sparklier than the straight cut. Try them both to see the difference. Pick up a sampler pack or two if you want to play around with it and figure it out...or if you're ready to jump right in, grab the jellybean assortments.

Most importantly, have fun! And hey! Show me what you make with it!

Both the samplers and jelly bean assortments contain 1/10th of an ounce of fiber per color (samplers have 6 colors and jelly bean assortments contain all colors (19 straight cut, 20 crimped cut, 15 metallic)). 1/10th of an ounce is about a small handful but can make a sheet of thin fabric roughly 18" square.

* Crimped is softer when bonded

* Allows for a better drape, while adding more texture and dimension

* It is washable; dryable and dry cleanable

* Mix colors or keep them separate; they all bond
